Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") apply when you download, install, access, or use G1 Mentor (the "App"), operated by Abu Rayhan Shojib, doing business as Binarycube IT. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.
If you use the App on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that person. If you are under the age of majority, you should use the App with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
What G1 Mentor provides
G1 Mentor is an educational study tool for Ontario G1 knowledge test preparation. Features may include:
- Rules of the Road practice questions with answer feedback.
- Road signs library, road sign detail pages, and sign quizzes.
- Timed mock exams based on the 40-question G1 format.
- Bookmarks, saved progress, streaks, performance tracking, and weak-area review.
- Personalized study plans and AI-powered coaching tips based on exam date, goals, and progress.
- Notifications, reminders, fines and limits references, and support tools.
G1 Mentor is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, ServiceOntario, DriveTest, or any government body.
Accounts, guest mode, and deletion
You may use some features as a guest. To save progress, generate or sync study plans, use bookmarks across sessions, or receive account-based services, you may need to sign in with an email address and one-time passcode.
- You are responsible for providing accurate account information.
- You must keep sign-in codes private and not allow unauthorized access to your account.
- You may delete your account in the Profile section where available or by contacting support.
- Uninstalling the App may remove local guest data, but it may not delete server-side account data. See our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App. You must not:
- Use the App for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or commercial scraping purposes.
- Copy, sell, sublicense, redistribute, or publicly post question banks, sign libraries, or app content without permission.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, or attempt to access non-public parts of the App or its backend.
- Use bots, scripts, automated requests, or security testing tools without written permission.
- Upload or transmit malicious code or attempt to disrupt the App.
- Misrepresent the App as an official government service.
Educational content and test accuracy
G1 Mentor is a study aid. We work to keep app content useful and aligned with publicly available Ontario driving information, but we do not guarantee that any question, answer, fine, limit, road sign description, AI-generated coaching tip, or study recommendation is complete, current, error-free, or identical to the official test.
Passing mock exams in the App does not guarantee that you will pass the official G1 test. You are responsible for checking official sources, including the current Ontario Driver's Handbook and DriveTest requirements.
Advertising, app stores, and availability
G1 Mentor may be free to download and may display advertising. Ad availability, format, targeting, and measurement may depend on your device settings, consent choices, and ad partners.
The App is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play. Your download, refund rights, platform account, device permissions, and store-level data are also governed by Apple or Google terms and policies.
We may change, suspend, remove, or limit features at any time, including when required for maintenance, security, legal compliance, app store review, or product updates.
Intellectual property
Abu Rayhan Shojib (operating as Binarycube IT) owns or licenses G1 Mentor, including its app design, software, logo, branding, text, question organization, explanations, study plan logic, and original content, which are protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal study. This license does not allow copying, resale, redistribution, data extraction, or commercial use unless we give written permission.
Government names, road rules, and road sign concepts remain the property of their respective owners. References to Ontario driving materials are for educational identification only.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free content, perfect security, or any particular test result.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Abu Rayhan Shojib (operating as Binarycube IT), G1 Mentor, and their owners, developers, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for failure to pass a licensing test.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to use the App in the 12 months before the claim or CAD $50.
Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for other users or the App, misuse content, or if continued access would create legal, security, or operational concerns.
Sections on intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, privacy, and governing law will continue after termination where appropriate.
Governing law and changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have jurisdiction where permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above will change when we publish updates. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
